Members are charged a low monthly fee, which covers almost all primary care and urgent care services. Through this model, the provider can focus on what matters most, which is spending more time with the patient and being more accessible.
We keep our patient panel low in order to get to know our patients really well and personalize care for you. Our focus here is quality, not quantity. When you are a part of our practice, it is like having a doctor in the family.
Can I Use My Health Insurance At Haven Family Health?
Yes, you can still use your health insurance while being a patient at Haven Family Health. We’re a Direct Primary Care (DPC) practice, which means we don’t bill insurance for primary care visits. Instead, your simple monthly membership already covers your appointments, longer visits, direct access to your doctor, and ongoing care.
Your insurance still plays a role. It can be used for labs, imaging, medications, specialists, and hospital care. If you have an HMO plan, just know that your insurer may require certain orders or referrals to come from an in-network provider, but that’s a rule of the insurance plan, not a limitation of DPC.
