Can I use health insurance to pay for my DPC membership?
Your membership replaces insurance for primary and preventive care. If you have insurance, you can still see a DPC doctor. We don’t bill your insurance because your monthly membership already covers your primary care appointments. However you insurance can be used for labs, medications, and referrals. If you have an HMO plan, they may require you see a doctor in network for all orders.
Will DPC pair well with a healthshare plan?
DPC membership pairs well with a healthshare plan. That way you can have your primary care needs met while also having catastrophic coverage. There are various healthsare plans that patients use like sedera healthshare, clearwater health, christian health ministries.
Why doesn’t a DPC doctor bill insurance?
